cheapest Vintage set of two steins, made in Holland. The steins are a beautiful rich brown painted ceramic with pewter lids. These pieces were crafted by N.V. Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland Gouda. The company was founded by Egbert Estié and Adriaan Jonker Krijnszoon in 1898. The business was taken over by the Hoyng family in 1903 and the factory closed in 1964. The steins both have genuine marks on the bottom. The "Archway" in their logo is a depiction of "Lazarus's Gate" in the old leper colony in Gouda.
